3 days in Leysin before christmas

This is our last podcast for 2011 that we shot in 3 days right before christmas. Gérome Mathieu and Valérian Ducourtil joined me at my home spot of Leysin where it has been snowing a lot the past few days. Christian Weber joined the crew for some jib spots but unfortunately the rain came as well. So that’s it we did what we could in a few days and then everybody went home for christmas parties. And talking about party, it’s december 31 19:00 right now and my glass of white wine is calling for me so I wish you a happy new year and a nice hangover!

The snow is here! And there’s a lot.

The snow came pretty heavily this year and that’s good! We heard there was a lot of snow around Tignes and Val D’Isère in France so we decided to head up there. And just like we hoped, there was a LOT of snow. Maybe even a little too much so we couldn’t go up the mountain to check backcountry spots because of the avalanche risk being too high. But we managed to find some spots in Val D’Isère and have some good shots early in the season.

A few days in Switzerland

Tyler, Gérome and Valé spent a few days at Serge base in Leysin to shred the park at Les Diablerets glacier and have some fun chiling golfing and partying before the season starts. Christian Weber joined the crew for a day as well. We had good time and managed to shoot a little bit for the first podcast even though there was not much snow… here’s a few pictures allready to check it out!
